This is not financial advice

Every tool here is a calculator. It takes numbers you supply and applies arithmetic to them. It does not know your circumstances, your tax position, your risk tolerance or your goals, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, hold or avoid anything.

We are not licensed financial advisers, brokers or tax professionals, and nothing on this site creates an advisory relationship. If you are making a decision that matters, speak to someone qualified in your jurisdiction.

Crypto is volatile and you can lose everything

Digital assets can lose most or all of their value quickly. A profit calculator showing a gain describes arithmetic on the inputs you typed, not a forecast. Past performance, and any projection built from it, tells you nothing reliable about the future.

Where the prices come from

Live price lookups call the public CoinGecko API. Those figures are indicative, can be delayed, and will differ from what any specific exchange shows you at the moment you trade. We do not control that data and cannot guarantee its accuracy or availability.

Anything involving future prices, halving dates, staking yields or mining difficulty is an estimate based on assumptions that change. Treat those outputs as a model, not a promise.

Mining and staking calculators

Mining profitability depends on difficulty, network hashrate, your real electricity tariff, hardware degradation, pool fees and downtime. Staking returns depend on validator performance, lock-up terms and protocol changes. Our calculators use the inputs you provide and cannot see any of the variables you did not enter.

Tax calculations are a starting point

Cost-basis and gains tools apply the accounting method you select. They are not tax advice, they do not account for the rules of your country, and they should not be filed as-is. Use the output to understand the shape of your position, then take it to an accountant.

Formulas are documented, and still ours

The methodology page sets out how each calculator works so you can check it rather than trust it. We aim for correctness and we do not guarantee it. If you find an error, the contact page is the fastest way to get it fixed, and corrections are genuinely welcome.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. Advertisers have no input into which tools exist, what the formulas do, or what any guide says. There are no affiliate links to exchanges, brokers or hardware, and nothing is sold here.
