How it works

BTC/day = (your TH ÷ network TH) × 144 blocks × 3.125 BTC × (1 − pool fee)

profit/day = BTC/day × price − (kW × 24h × $/kWh)

Worked example

120 TH/s on a 700 EH/s network mines ≈0.0000765 BTC/day. At $65,000 that is $4.97 revenue, minus $6.34 power at $0.08/kWh: a $1.37 daily loss. At $0.05/kWh it flips positive.

FAQ

Why does my estimate decay over months?

Network hashrate keeps rising, shrinking your share. Re-run the numbers with a higher network figure to stress-test the future.

Is the 3.125 BTC reward fixed?

Until the next halving, when it drops to 1.5625 BTC and cuts gross revenue in half overnight. See the Halving Calculator.

Do pools change the math?

Pools smooth variance and take the fee modeled here. Solo mining removes the fee but makes income a lottery.
