How it works
earnings/day = tokens × price
hourly = earnings ÷ hours played
payback = upfront ÷ daily earnings
Worked example
An $800 entry earning 25 tokens/day at $0.15 pays $3.75 daily, $1.88/hour for two hours of play, with a 213-day payback. Token price falling 50% doubles it.
FAQ
Why do GameFi economies collapse?
Earnings come from new players' spending. When growth stalls, token emissions outpace demand and the hourly rate falls toward zero.
Should I count the NFT's resale value?
If a real market exists, subtract expected resale from upfront cost. In dead games that value is also dead.
