How it works
net = sale × (1 − royalty − marketplace fee)
profit = net − (mint cost + gas)
Worked example
Mint at 0.5 ETH plus 0.03 gas, sell at 0.9 with 5% royalty and 2.5% platform: profit is 0.3025 ETH, about $968 at $3,200 ETH, not the 0.4 the trade looked like.
FAQ
Are royalties always enforced?
No, some marketplaces made them optional. Use the royalty the venue you sell on actually charges.
Should I count gas from failed mints?
Yes, add it to the gas field. The chain charged you whether the mint succeeded or not.
